Filipino Dish – Adobo sa Gatang Tambakol

Adobo sa Gatang Tambakol.
(Blue fin cooked in coconut milk with eggplant and mustard leaves)

Well, mahilig talaga ako sa dishes with coconut milk.

I normally shallow pan-fry the fish first my sinaing sa asin before cooking with gata. It makes the fish a little bit firmer and tastier given the crispy outer. I used small eggplant (whole) and mustasa.

This is the first time I ever saw a mustasa sold in the supermarket-since I came here. Rare find, so happy.

Makan time. 🍽

So Why is Mustasa (Mustard Greens) so Good?

Mustard greens are packed with energy-boosting, heart-healthy, disease-fighting nutrients. These greens are a delicious source of calcium, magnesium, folic acid and vitamin K, important for bone health. Raw mustard greens have a tasty, peppery bite, but you can mellow it by cooking them.
