Thai Food : Mango Sticky Rice!

Have a starry sticky morning!

I don’t mind eating mango sticky rice in the morning. The supermarket is still beaming with mangos and I fancy this Thai dessert, so I finally gave it a try. And it was amazingly good! ðŸ˜†

Having some left overs and the next two pictures were taken from last night’s feast.

I’ll be posting a short clip for this recipe on my page because I still suck at video editing so maybe 60secs wont hurt me to try or Tiktok? why not!

Where did Mango Sticky Rice come from?

Mango sticky rice is a traditional Thai dessert made with glutinous rice, fresh mango and coconut milk, and eaten with a spoon or sometimes the hands. Although originating in Thailand, it is consumed throughout the Indochina region and the rest of Southeast Asia and South Asia, including Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, India and Bangladesh. Mango sticky rice is usually eaten in the peak mango season, the summer months of April and May in Thailand.
